Copy Cats...
The funny part is that Konami had drums and cymbals years before Guitar Hero even existed. It also allowed for you to plug in the the Yamaha DTX series electronic drum sets...which finally someone else realized they can do that too. So..Mister GH Devs/Directors/Producers/etc. you rip off Konami's guitar game, you rip off the "band" game, you rip off Konami's cymbals, and you rip off the use of any electronic drumset(although we'll see how well this function actually works). What's next? The ability to change the speed? The ability to reverse which way the 'notes' flow?
Although to be fair the GH team currently working on the game are not the same who originally worked on the game. I think it's ridiculous to point fingers and blame who's copying who.
On the positive side, it will be awesome if you can use almost any electronic drum kit to play GHWT. Surely enough, others will follow suit. I'm much more of a RB person myself. It's really all about the song list and all of the songs I like on GH are on RB and then some.

In the Beginning....
I started this blog as the piece of me that people can find. I generally don't like to talk about who I am in real life or what I do for a living (not because I'm secretly a ninja or anything as cool as that). I never felt the need to talk about these things. I really didn't want to talk about it. Now I do want to share my knowledge and experience. Now people will find me online, even though I've been using the internet regularly for over a decade.
What to know about me?
I'm an unspecified aged female living in Downtown Los Angeles. I grew up playing video games. I wasn't privileged enough to have a lot of games in my younger years, but I have been making up for it now. I worked in video game retail for a year and half. I then moved on to QA which eventually led to a project manager position. I now currently work as an Associate Producer.
What's with the lame name of this blog?
I grew up playing games with guys. Most of my female friends didn't play games. I also don't get the whole "Girl Power" thing that has been going around. I just want to play, regardless of your gender. Maybe I've grown used to the way some guys are and I can handle them. Maybe I have a high tolerance for some people. Games are about having fun. If, as a girl, you enjoy playing with other girls more power to you, just don't expect me to join you. That doesn't mean I don't play with girls or support more female gamers. In fact I do hope that more women play games. Games aren't only for men or kids. They have many different types for all to enjoy.
The future will hold more. I will discuss more of my past, my experience with games and work. I will probably dive into other topics, since my life doesn't solely revolve around games.
